About Yo.directory

How tools get listed

Anyone can submit a tool. A free listing needs a link back to Yo.directory on the tool's website, and it stays live while that link does. A Basic plan is a one-time payment instead of the link, and Pro adds pinned placement. Plans and prices are on the pricing page.

Every submission is checked against our listing rules before it goes live. We don't list gambling, malware, scams or illegal services, and adult tools are only listed on a paid adult plan.

How we rank tools

Lists such as Top are ordered by our own quality score, with upvotes breaking ties. Scores, rankings and labels are our assessment, and they change as the tools do.

Paid plans change where a tool appears, and they're always marked. Pro listings are pinned at the top of the homepage and their categories and carry a Pro badge. Basic listings carry a Verified badge and rank above free listings in search.

Ads appear in the sidebar block labelled Promoted, and a newsletter sponsor is marked as a sponsor. Ad prices are on the advertising page.

Keeping listings accurate

We check listed websites regularly. If a site keeps failing, we review it before marking the tool dead. Dead tools move to the Dead tools list instead of disappearing, so you can still see what they were and find alternatives.

Spot something wrong? Use Report listing on the tool's page. If you own a tool that's listed but not yet claimed, use Claim on its page to manage the listing from your dashboard.
